Ryan Dempsey

Ryan Dempsey grew up in Barrington, Rhode Island and earned his B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. After graduation, he worked as a freelance journalist for several newspapers in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

In 2004, Ryan moved to Los Angeles where he earned his M.F.A. in screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University. He then went to work in the entertainment industry where, in addition to working as a freelance writer, he gained experience in talent representation and later as a story analyst for various production companies and talent agencies.

He is the New York Times Bestselling co-author of OpTic Gaming: The Making of eSports Champions and the upcoming Metta World Peace memoir titled No Malice
